The Puregold couple, Lucio and Susan Co, did not make it on the Forbes Billionaires list because their net worth fell to $1.9 billion in 2017 (or less than $1 billion each) down from $2 billion in 2016.

Based on its methodology, the Forbes Billionaires list is a snapshot of wealth based on stock prices and exchange rates from around the world as of February 17, 2017 to calculate net worths.

?We list wealth held by individuals rather than multigenerational families who share large fortunes, though we include wealth belonging to a billionaire?s spouse and children if that person is the founder of the fortune,? said Forbes.

This explains why some Bilyonaryos on Forbes 50 Richest Filipinos list such as the Aboitizes, Ayalas, Zobels, and Gotianuns are not included in the ultra-exclusive Forbes dollar billionaires club.
