An eagle-eyed netizen found proof that the Consunjis really own the collapsed Ecoland 4000 Residence in Davao City.
The Consunji family’s DMCI Homes on Friday denied owning Ecoland 4000 which partially collapsed after a strong earthquake rocked several parts of Mindanao.
“The company was not involved in the development, design, and construction of the said project,” DMCI Homes said in a statement.
Local reports said Ecoland 4000 is owned by DMC Urban Property Developers Inc. (DMC-UPDI), a real estate development company.
The eager beaver netizen, however, discovered that DMC-UPDI also holds office at DMCI along Chino Roces in Makati City.
Just coincidentally holding office in their Building in Chino Roces. Haha. pic.twitter.com/FDU71UvpOA

Rebecca Polinar is a well-known broker in Davao and a resident of Ecoland 4000. How inconsiderate of you to share this, given the fact that she and her family were also victims of the calamity. This isn’t a matter of fake news, it’s precaution for us all. https://t.co/BoBheopJKJ
