Ain’t EastWest’s fault! Gotianun-owned bank denies system glitch despite clients’ complaints

EastWest Bank clients who found time to do online transactions on a holiday Wednesday (December 8) ended up frustrated as they were unable to access the bank’s services.

Netizens took to social media to ask if the Gotianun-owned bank was undertaking system maintenance since they cannot log on to their online accounts or even use their bank cards for online purchases.

However, EastWest Bank denied any downtime and insisted that the problem was likely on the customer’s end.

Jr Calawagan Rodolfo said his employer could not upload his salary through his EastWest ATM, but the bank insisted that the problem should instead be raised through his company’s HR personnel.

Another user Rhoye Grafx received a denial from the bank when asked if the app is down.
