Salvador Escano charts new growth path for Pryce

Pryce Corp., a property holding company with interests in LPG and other gas products, is considering spinning off its memorial park business to improve operational efficiency and accelerate growth.

In a disclosure to the stock exchange, businessman Salvador Escano-led Pryce said the plan would involve the transfer of all memorial park properties to the spun-off unit to be tentatively called Pryce Memorial Park Inc. (PMP).

PMP will have a separate management team to ensure it can focus its resources and create higher value.

The Company is focused in its memorial park business and operates thirteen (13) first-class memorial parks that are located in the major cities of Mindanao such as Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Iligan, Zamboanga, Dipolog, Ozamiz, and in strategic locations such as Malaybalay, Bukidnon, Manolo-Fortich, Alabel, Sarangani, Bislig, Surigao del Sur, Malita, Davao del.Sur, Pagadian City, and Butuan

Pryce owns and runs 13 memorial parks in major cities of Mindanao such as Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Iligan, Zamboangan, Dipolog, Ozamiz and in strategic locations such as Malaybalay, Bukidnon, Manolo-Fortich, Alabel, Sarangani, Bislig, Surigao del Sur, Malita, Davao del.Sur, Pagadian City, and Butuan

Pryce likewise approved a plan to partner with a solar energy firm to explore the possibility of putting up solar power stations in the company’s landbanked properties.

Aside from memorial parks and LPG, Pyrce is also engaged in the distribution of private branded multi-vitamins and some over-the-counter generic drugs.
