Leandro Leviste gains P90M on paper after gulping down additional SPNEC shares 2 days before IPO listing

Millennial bilyonaryo Leandro Leviste got a windfall after doubling down on his investments in his baby, Solar Philippines Nueva Ecija Cor (SPNEC).

Leviste disclosed that he bought 300.136 million additional shares of SPNEC at its initial public offer (IPO) price of P1 on 15 December 2021 or two days before its listing date. The shares are currently worth P390.2 million..

He bought the extra shares through his wholly-owned Countryside Investments Holdings.

These shares are on top of the 5.724 million shares or 66.8 percent of SPEC he holds under Solar Philippines Power Project Holdings after the IPO.
