Bilyonaryo Manny Villar is coordinating with tenants of his Starmall Alabang to address their concerns after a fire ripped a portion of the five-level mall early Saturday.
“For our loyal customers, proper coordination will be made to look into your concerns. We appeal for your patience and understanding as we wait for the results of the BFP (Bureau of Fire and Protection) investigation,” Starmall said in a statement.
“We vow to rise above this adversity and come out stronger than ever to be able to serve you better,” said the shopping mall owned by Villar.
Management said while it was saddened by the turn of events, it was thankful that there were no casualties.
Starmall also expressed its gratitude to the local government units “for their assistance and the Philippine National Police personnel who provided security as well as private firms such as Maynilad for providing water tanks that were used to help contain the fire.”
