Lopez-led ABS-CBN Entertainment has forged a partnership with leading pan-regional OTT video streaming service Viu to enrich its offering and expand its viewer base.
To kick off the partnership, ABS-CBN’s highly anticipated upcoming drama series “The Broken Marriage Vow,” the Philippine adaptation of the hit BBC series “Doctor Foster,” will be available on Viu in the Philippines on January 22 or 48 hours before its TV broadcast.
The partnership is in line with ABS-CBN’s vision to reach more audiences and promote Filipino talent worldwide as it evolves into a global content creator.
It likewise strengthens Viu’s commitment to bringing premium Asian entertainment to its users with its massive and diverse content catalog.
ABS-CBN’s collaboration with Viu is its third with a streaming service following its content deal with iQYi to produce Filipino original series for international subscribers and its partnership with WeTV iflix to stream episodes of its entertainment programs before they air on TV.
