The heirs of the late ambassador Antonio Cabangon-Chua can now add digital TV to its media portfolio made up of DWIZ and Home radio stations and Business Mirror newspaper.
The National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) granted Cabangon Chua’s Aliw Broadcasting a provisional authority to use Channel 23, the digital frequency previously used by ABS-CBN Broadcasting of the Lopez family to air its Sports and Action program, specifically the UAAP basketball and volleyball games.
In a statement, NTC said Aliw was second in line to get a digital channel having filed its application since 2007.
