As the country reopens its borders, Globe is enabling tourists to experience 5G in major Philippine destinations.

Countries where Globe has inbound roaming partnerships include Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau, Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, USA, and Vietnam.

To enable Globe 5G inbound roaming, Globe said foreign tourists should see to it that their SIM and devices are 5G-ready.

They should also check the compatibility of their device frequency band with Globe’s 5G network and ensure that the data roaming subscription in their home networks allows 5G surfing.

“Being the preferred choice of tourists traveling to the country, we want to make sure that we can give them instant and seamless connectivity. They can take advantage of the convenience and benefits that 5G can offer by latching on to Globe’s 5G network,” said Coco Domingo, Globe VP for Postpaid and International Business.

Globe continues to explore more partnerships in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific to cement its supremacy in the 5G roaming space.
