Telco giant PLDT and its wireless unit Smart Communications said they are are on full alert to ensure services remain seamless during this year’s polls.
PLDT and Smart said personnel and mission-critical equipment have been prepositioned to ensure uninterrupted service across the country ahead of the May 9 elections.
Their quick response teams are on standby, ready to be deployed in areas that might experience service issues.
PLDT and Smart assets are also being closely monitored to make sure that they are operating at their optimum, especially on election day and in the crucial period of transmission of results from the vote counting machines to the canvassing centers.
